Comm Johnson Opposes Low-Income Housing for Teachers

Should Dare County be building low income housing for teachers in this down real estate market?  Are there already enough houses for sale at rock bottom prices to satisfy the housing needs of teachers?

  1. Dare Co had trouble filling the last batch of projects they built. They should NOT be building more low income housing. What an insult. How about raising our pay so we are not considered low income? Then we can rent or purchase a home on the principles of free markets.
