Gingrich considers West for running mate

Liv’s Opinion: The GOP still doesn’t get it.  Recyling the same tired faces and voices.  Gingrich, Romney, Huckabee, et al. sheesh.  West is the first fresh voice since Palin (and she’s unelectable).  How about Christie and West?

  1. How about Christie and Jan Brewer?

  2. I don’t think Brewer has national aspirations ( I could be wrong). I love her convictions but don’t think they are nationally win-able at this time (small steps, state by state). I think West offers a cultural dilemma for the Left. Christie has walked through the fire of Jersey politics.

    • Are you kidding Jan Brewer became governor by default when Nappy Napolitano was tapped for the Homeland security job. Brewer has conviction alright no matter how wrong she is she stands by her decision. I lived in Arizona and the only reason people like Brewer is because she speaks out against Obama. Her and Sarah Palin have something in common the have no real policy their only position is to oppose whatever any Democrat say. I believe we need a candidate with some intelligence and some actual policy ideas other than saying the other party is wrong vote for me.

  3. How quickly we forget Gingrich’s past. Yes, he is now a talking head but…there are reasons he’s no longer Speaker of the House.
