Governor Perdue will be in Kinston on Monday, March 28th for a Town Hall meeting. All citizens are invited to attend. The event will be held at 4 p.m. at the Lenoir County Visitors Center, 101 East New Bern Rd. She will be there to consult with locals on their ideas on improving the educational system as well as economic development in Eastern North Carolina, said Tate Johnson, director of the governor’s eastern office in New Bern.
“She wants to come to talk to the citizens of the state,” said Rob Bizzell a Kinston businessman and longstanding friend of Perdue’s. “She wants to stay in touch with her constituents and get out talk with them about their concerns. This is an opportunity for anyone with a question to ask it face-to-face with the governor.”
